BUS STRIKE EXTENDED

PRIVATE BUSES THAT COMMENCE JOURNEYS FROM DEHIWALA, BATTARAMULLA, ANGULANA AND KARAGAMPITIYA HAVE JOINED IN THE STRIKE
To extend co-operation to the private bus strike at Panadura all private buses which commence plying from Dehiwala, Battaramulla,Angulana and Karagampitiya too have joined in the strike. Accordingly the office workers who are returning from offices will have to face a severe inconvenience,

INCREASES OF BUS FARES FROM NEXT MONTH
In this regard the government sources have confirmed that they are agreeable for the revision of bus fares requested for. The minimum fare for the first section has been increased to Rs 7/- while all other fares have been increased by 15%.
