Iraj’s Police Song Banned?

Iraj Weeraratne is one of Sri Lanka’s most sought after singers and a popular musician who came to fame recently. It is reported that one of his latest songs based on lyrics on our Police personnel has been banned unofficially by many FM radio channels
Administrators of many FM radio channels have revealed that they have received stern orders from Police higher authorities to refrain from broadcasting this song .They fear in the event they do not abide by their orders they may receive a ban on their channels.
The lyrics of this song in the pretext of hailing the duties of the Police had indirectly attacked by showing their flaws.
